I am focussed on helping adult skaters build a foundation of strong and stable skating skills, following the Learn to Skate Adult Basic Skills / KSA Deep Sea curriculum. I believe skating is a rewarding pursuit at any level and any age, and I am honored to help skaters start their journey with the confidence and enthusiasm to take on any challenges they choose to pursue!
$60/hour ($30 per half-hour lesson | $45 per 45-minute lesson)
I will work with you to find a time that works for your schedule, usually a half-hour session during a weekday public skate.
I invoice skaters monthly and provide a link to pay via Venmo. Let me know if you'd prefer a different arrangement for invoicing and payment.
Please let me know via email as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. I request at least one day of notice for a cancellation or reschedule.
No-shows, same-day cancellations, or cancellations after 8pm the day before a scheduled lesson will be subject to a late-cancellation fee. The first and second late-cancellations within a year will be charged 50% of the lesson cost. Additional late-cancellations will be charged 100% of the lesson cost. I will waive fees for late cancellations due to illness or emergency, at my discretion.
I started skating as an adult and continue to learn and grow as a skater, pursuing the Adult Skating Skills and Singles testing tracks and competing in Singles. Learn more about my skating history!
I grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas and moved to Seattle in 2018. My hobbies outside of skating include sewing and prop-making for cosplay. I have previously worked as a book designer and a web/app designer.
I dabble in HTML/CSS and have lovingly hand-crafted this website using only free and open source software.
